NAUTILUS

                     Age: 167 million years old

                     Size: 22 millimeters (0.8 in)

                     Location: Freshwater, Dorset, UK

                     Period: Jurassic, Inferior Oolite

The nautilus is one of the many life forms that has
undergone no change since it was first created.
The 167-million-year-old fossil juvenile pictured is
one of the proofs that these creatures have been
the same for millions of years.
