EAST TURKESTAN UNDER MILITARY BLOCKADE
The Washington Post reported that East Turkestan, that part of China where the Ortado
Uighur Turks live, has been under a Chinese blockade for the last 10 days. The news-
paper stressed the concern that an extermination campaign was being waged against
the Uighurs.
