so cannot understand that they exist only because He wills it. In one
verse, Allah tells us that they cannot understand the truth about this
life:
They know an outward aspect of the life of this world, but
are heedless of the hereafter. (Surat ar-Rum, 7)
The unbelievers ignore one very important truth and so end up
committing every kind of immorality, trying to secure worldly ad-
vantages for themselves, telling lies, seizing on a mocking approach
towards religion, slandering the believers, and trying to harm them.
They are really trapped in a great unawareness, and remain un-
aware of this fact. In the coming pages, this great truth will be ex-
plained.
