"My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing,
would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he
tells you, 'Wash and be cleansed'!" (2 Kings, 5:13)
They washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or ap-
proached the altar, as the Lord commanded Moses. (Exodus,
40:32)
Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put
on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the
Lord and worshiped. (2 Samuel, 12:20)
"You must keep the believers separate from things that make
them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness for defil-
ing My dwelling place, which is among them." (Leviticus, 15:31)
... [He] must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water;
afterward he may come into the camp. (Leviticus, 16:28)
He shall bathe himself with water in a holy place and put on
his regular garments. (Leviticus, 16:24)

He is to put on the sacred linen tunic, with linen undergarments
next to his body; he is to tie the linen sash around him and put on
the linen turban. These are sacred garments; so he must bathe
himself with water before he puts them on. (Leviticus, 16:4)

My sight! (Isaiah, 1:16)
You must distinguish between the holy and the common, be-
tween the unclean and the clean. (Leviticus, 10:10)
