His face is like a star shin ing in the sky.

"Risaletül Meşreb elver di fi mez heb il Mahdi")
He (the Mahdi) is a young man of medi um stat ure and
with a beau ti ful face … The radi ance of his face shines
like day in his hair, beard, and the black ness of his head,
and gives him great ness.

The Mahdi is one of my [Muhammad's] chil dren. His
face shines like a star.

He is love ly of face. The light of his face gives him maj -
es ty.

There is a color in his face like that of a bright star.

Allah tells us of Prophet Yusuf's (as) beau ty:
She said [to Yusuf]: "Go out to them." When they saw
him, they were amazed by him and cut their hands.
(Surah Yusuf, 31)
