The sign of the Prophet (saas) is on his shoul der.
(Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah, p. 165; Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-
Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi, p. 23)
The mark of the Prophet (saas) is on his shoul der.
(Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah, p. 163)

As can be seen from these had iths, the Mahdi will
have "the sign of the Prophet (saas)," an evi dent mark,
between his shoul ders. Islamic sour ces describe this
mark as fol lows:
Abu Saib ibn Yazid relates that: "My eye saw the seal
of the Prophet (saas) between his shoul ders."
(Sunan Tirmidhi, 6:126)

HIS COMPLEXION

Note: The Arab com plex ion is a mix ture of red and
white.
Our Prophet (saas) had a red dish-white com plex ion.
However, the vis i ble parts of his skin were near er to
brown because of the Sun and the wind. The Mahdi will
be the same color as the Prophet (saas), whose com -
plex ion is described thus:
