Second Coming

Time gets closer, and the day and the night approach one another. (Mukhtasar
Tazkirah al-Qurtubi, p. 374, no. 681)

The Hour will not take place before time shrinks. One year will be like a month, one
month will be like a week, a week will be like a day, and a day will be like an hour;
and an hour will be like a burning flame.(Ibn Ahmad Hanbal, Musnad)

Abu Hurayra quoted that the Prophet of God (may God bless him and grant him
peace) as saying: The Last Hour will not happen until time draws close, a year will
be like a month, a month will be like a week, a week will be like a day, a day will be
like an hour, and an hour will be like burning and combustion of palm leaves. (Ibn
Ahmad Hanbal and Ibn Hibban)
