being, and his soul will be taken to paradise. Just as with everyone
else, it is God Who creates his whole destiny, everything that will hap-

pen to him throughout his life. It is also God Who creates all the mir-
acles he worked. Jesus performed these, not through himself, but
through God's mercy on him. Throughout his life of this world, he ex-
pressed a powerful faith in God and called people to His straight path.
It is a fact explicitly set out in the Gospel that Jesus called on people to
believe in and serve God:
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and
serve Him only.'" (Luke, 4: 8)

This is how the Koran reveals that Jesus
called on people to believe in God:

God is my Lord and your Lord so wor-
ship Him. This is a straight path.
(Koran, 19:36)
