false and baseless idea across the world and install an incorrect per-
ception of Islam.
These people are oblivious to the affectionate and compassionate
attitude of our Prophet (pbuh) toward women, and from all the rights
bestowed on them in the Koran and the attitude that should be adopt-
ed toward them. They seek to portray nonsense of
their own invention, oppression of and injus-
tice and lack of compassion towards women

and even a refusal to regard them as people
at all, as supposedly a commandment of
the faith. The masses who have ignorant-
ly followed them have persisted in main-
taining these attitudes for centuries and
this unpleasant belief has become root-
ed in some Muslim societies. The
source on which these fanatics base
their nonsensical ideas is false
hadiths that espouse hostility
to women.
