woman from the People of the Book and eat their food. Can anyone
suddenly decide one day to murder the person he married, the moth-
er of his children, whom he addresses as "darling" or "beloved"? This
is a terrible allegation to make; that after years of treating his wife well
and making a family together, having children and treating her with
love and respect, a Muslim man will suddenly reach for his gun and
say, "I was only pretending all those years, and now I am going to kill
you."
This is an insane belief and quite bluntly speaking, pathological
