The greatest quality of the Mahdi, in whom Muslims
believe and who is described in considerable detail in
hadiths, is that when he takes charge he will not permit
one drop of blood to be shed. There is one very im-
portant point that needs to be emphasized here; the
Mahdi's avoidance of bloodshed is the command of
our Prophet: Our Prophet said this through the rev-
elation bestowed on him. It is therefore impossible
for Hazrat Mahdi to step outside that command-
ment. If someone does disobey that command
and sheds blood, then he is no longer a Mus-
lim. Hazrat Mahdi will implement our
Prophet's command willingly, with love
and with fervor. It is impossible for him to
do anything else, and neither will he do
so.

have in order to be Hazrat Mahdi are set
