– The center, through the college entrance examination, shall assist incoming students for
appropriate placement to the different courses offered in the university and at the same
time, to assess their potentials for higher education.
2.4.2. Student Peer Facilitators – The Student Peer Facilitators Programs aims at developing
students’ potentials in guidance program and related activities geared towards students’
wholesome development.
2.4.3. Datngon Youth Center – The Datngon Youth Center is a Provincial Government initiated
project in collaboration with the school which aims at responding to youth development
issues and concerns.
2.4.4. Family Support Group Services – The center shall consider the involvement and
participation of parents and significant others, when necessary, in response to the
students’ concerns especially those concerns which evolves within the family.
2.5. International Students
2.5.1. Goals and Objective
2.5.1.1. To extend assistance to foreign students for them to avoid inconveniences during their
stay in the University
2.5.1.2. To extend assistance in the procurement of study permits, student visa and extension
of stay
2.5.1.3. To provide opportunities for growth and development in their new-found home – the
University
2.5.2. Services
2.5.2.1. Orientation of foreign students on the rules and regulations of the University
2.5.2.2. Student housing
2.5.2.3. Assistance in the processing of papers (visas, study permits, extension, etc.)
2.5.2.4. Conduct of guidance and counseling for better adjustment (whenever necessary)
2.5.2.5. Provides opportunities for socio-cultural growth
