Abstrak The most common problem of mechanics in the workshop is to take
Kajian/Projek: repair equipment in the toolbox. This leads to increased labor when
doing work in the workshop. The Toolbox Chair is a project designed
to solve this problem. The scope of the project is generated for one
employee only and the height achieved is not greater than 1 meter. This
study is based on the difficulties of mechanics in the workshop to make
repair work. Morphological charts are built to select and evaluate the
appropriate mechanisms to be used to build this project. In conclusion,
the results of the products have been saving time and workforce of
mechanics in the workshop especially in the automotive field.
