Terminal Explanation
Terminal 30 Permanent positive
Terminal 31 Body ground
Terminal 15N Ignition with 5 second after-run (Terminal 15 is just switched positive)
Terminal 30B Normal operation. Switched off whilst vehicle sleeps
Terminal 30F Error. Is only switched off with higher standby current
• Terminal 15N (N = From the German word for After-run)
- After Terminal 15N is deactivated, it remains ACTIVE for approx. 5 seconds to complete ‘background’ work
- This is comparable to ‘Shutting down’ your PC. Work is saved.
- Terminal 15N is also used as a wake-up line for several control units
- Terminal 15 (Ignition) can be forced ‘OFF’ by pressing and holding Radio power button for 3 seconds – This
needs to be done by the technician during diagnosis (Parking)
