Rolyan® Functional-Position Hand Splints. Made of Kay-Splint®
III thermoplastic material. Major modifications can be made by dipping parts in hot water (160°F) for 60 seconds. Minor modifications are easily made with a heat gun. Deluxe splints include a self-adhesive strap kit with wrist, forearm and finger strap. To
size, measure across the MCP joints. Can be modified. Latex free.
Rolyan® Forearm-Based Thumb Spica Splint. To immobilize the
wrist and CMC and MCP thumb joints. Ideal for treatment of deQuer- vain’s syndrome, gamekeeper’s thumb and arthritis. To ease application, the thumb overlap is not permanently attached. Includes all necessary strapping and a self-adhesive D-ring strap to securely hold the thumb. Pre-formed from 1/16” (1.6mm) Polyform® material with 1/8” (3.2mm) Plastazote® padding. For size, measure the width of the 2nd to 5th MCP. Latex free.
Rolyan® Hand-Based Thumb Spica Splint. Supports the CMC
joint and immobilizes the thumb MCP joint. Preformed from 1/16” (1.6mm) Polyform® material with 1/16” (1.6mm) Plastazote® padding. Ideal for arthritis, skier’s thumb and gamekeeper’s thumb. Includes all necessary strapping and a 1/2” (1.3cm) self- adhesive D-ring strap to hold the thumb securely. To size, measure width from 2nd to 5th MCP. Latex free.
Rolyan® Burn Splint. To position the hand following burn injuries,
tendon transfers or trauma when the following position is desired: 20°–30° of wrist extension, 60°–70° of MCP flexion, IPs fully extended and thumb in 45° of extension midway between radial abduction and palmar abduction. Pre-formed from Ezeform® splinting material. Splint accommodates thick wound dressings. Small fits most small/medium women. Medium fits large women, average men. Large fits most large men. Instructions in- cluded. Can be modified. Latex free.
Burn Splint. Made from 3/32” (1.6mm) heat-moldable thermoplastic material, this low-profile splint keeps the MP joints at approximately 80° of flexion. Does not include straps. Latex free.
