         - somebody is going to plan it for you. Many of us believe in this myth of
the to-do list. I used to think that just by writing things down they'd get
done. But of course I'd go from day to day to day recycling the bottom half
of my to-to list because I wasn't making time to do those tasks. So the best
place to start is not with the output of what you want to get done every
day, but with the input of how much time you have to devote to every task.
So distraction has many consequences. One of them is that we find that
when someone is interrupted during a task, it can take up to 20 minutes for
them to refocus on what they were doing. Many times we don't even realize
how much worse our output is when we... So check email in one solid
             block.
         - If you enjoy using social media that's great, but make time for it in your
day so it's not something you're only using every time you feel bored or
             lonely.
Exercise 482. Read and discuss an article.
8 Ways to Actually Deliver on Your Promises
         https://www.lifehack.org/articles/communication/8-ways-to-actually-
         deliver-on-your-promises.html
         1. Don’t over-promise: The bigger the promise, the less likely you are to live
up to it (выполните). Don’t just say what the person wants to hear. Tell them
what you think you can reasonably (действительно) offer. For example, if
someone asks if you can come to their graduation party, but you have another
party the same day, don’t say yes because they want you to say yes. Say that
you might be able to and stick to it (следуйте этому).
         2. Remember! When is the last time you forgot a promise that you made?
Write it down the next time, even if it is something small. Every promise
counts. If you are finding your schedule filling up (заполненной), try
prioritizing so that the most important things get done first.
         3. Be communicative: When you make your promise, be as concise (чётким)
as possible. If the description of your promise is vague (распоывчатое), then
the other person may assume (предполагать, что вы сделаете больше) more
of you. Say exactly what it is that you are willing (готовы) to promise. After
you make the promise, communicate with the person often. If you find that you
cannot deliver on time or as well as you thought you could, then communicate
that as soon as possible. By keeping in contact, you are showing the other
person that you are making an effort to keep your promise.
