Cooking for Healing: Skin Health


























       Fruit Smoothies and





       Smoothie Bowls

          All of the antioxidants and probiotics in this smoothie will do nothing but good,

                                             healing affects on the skin.

        Ingredients                                            For a Smoothie Bowl:
        Any of the following fruits:                           Blend on low until the consistency is

        Strawberries, blueberries, bananas,                    close to soft serve ice cream. Pour into a
        kiwis, watermelon, cherries,                           bowl, and top with granola, chia seeds,

        blackberries, or raspberries                           coconut flakes, or hemp seeds.
        One half cup plain Greek yogurt
        One and one fourth cup almond or                       Enjoy!

        coconut milk
        Raw honey to taste                                     Notes:

                                                               Throw in some flax seeds for an extra
        Instructions                                           burst of probiotics!
        Place all of the ingredients in a blender

        until well combined. Pour into a cup.                  Use frozen fruits for a colder and
                                                               thicker smoothie.
