Our brains evolved over many thousands of
years to be the way they are, including this
            “wandering mind” condition. We cannot
rewire our brains overnight. Let’s be patient
and go easy on ourselves, embracing baby
steps toward a happier condition, including
the ability to appreciate the present
moment. That is what mindfulness is all
            about.
