Safeguarding

There is comprehensive information on safeguarding in our staff

handbook. There will be a safeguarding session during induction and all
staff will complete statutory safeguarding training at specific points during

the year.

We use CPOMs to record any concerns with students and you will be sent

login details for this when you join us.

In brief, if a student makes a disclosure to you, make time for them but do
not promise them confidentiality. Record the information they give you,

using their words where possible. Pass this information on (ideally using

CPOMs) as soon as possible.
