No One Can Dull Delaney’s Sparkle
to race full time or be a dancer. When she is not racing, she spends her time dancing and having fun with her family and friends. Her favorite race car driver is Martin Truex Jr. #78.
When Delaney was 5 years old she helped her dad work on her Papa Fred’s vintage racecar and she said to her dad, “I want to race one of these one day”. Her dad said, “You could start now.” That summer her dad rented a baby champ and she got to go racing. She won
a race her first
night out.
Her favor- ite memory was her first win in the Ohio Championship Kart- ing Series at Route 68 Speedway, in Mount Orab, OH. She won her heat AND her fea- ture and this was the first time she had ever been to this track. She had great help that day. Jeff from Rage Karts was at the track coach- ing her on her line the
entire day.

Ten year old Delaney Pitner (Miss Priss is her nickname) lives with her parents and her dog Hoosier. She loves to race and dance. Her favorite restaurant is Chili’s. She loves to go to Florida to visit her Papa Joe and see all the sea life. Her favorite quote is, “Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle”. She plays with both dolls and cars and her favor- ite TV show is SeaRescue. Her favorite holidays are Easter and Christmas.
Delaney is in the 4th grade and attends Jane Ball Elementary School, in Cedar Lake, IN. Her classmates think she is crazy to race go-karts because they don’t know anyone else that races like her. When she grows up she wants

Delaney’s papa (Fast Freddy Pit- ner) and her dad (John Pitner), encour- aged her to start racing. Her dad helps her with her car. Her best finish was at the Rage Reunion Race in August of 2017 at New I70/I77 Speedway in Lore City, Ohio. This was her first victory outside of her two local track wins. She
