P. 22

A man of gold, with shining face, who changed a lifetimes will
So I will go where’er I’m led, as I know I’m in his hands And wait to start his task for me, to preach to every land.
The human insecurity: so what happens now?
I can’t explain what happened, on the road on which we walked A terrifying flash of light as casually we talked
And now I’m blinded, by that light, I can’t see where to go I stumble as I’m led along, a proud man now brought low
I don’t see how I’ll be of use, to God or anyone
As I have lost my sight, and fear my mind and wits have gone
All I can do now that I’m here is let things take their course My former life of privilege has led me to remorse
Maybe my Lord will come again, and take me in his care For all I will be good for now is praying from my chair
So I will go where’er I’m led, as I know I’m in his hands And wait to hear his task for me, as for my God I’ll stand.
