At the next r/bout take the 2nd exit s/posted “Southampton A36”


        Navigation checkpoint:  At College Roundabout Wiltshire College building will be prominent on
        your left as you make that turn.

        Mileages start from there.


        0.0 51.0643,-1.7891  Take the A36. Go through one roundabout after about 14 miles.

        14.9 50.9466,-1.5291 Take the 1st exit on to the M27 s/posted “London / Southampton /
        Portsmouth / M27 (M3)”

        To visit Beaulieu, the National Motor Museum, and/or to explore the New Forest, take the 3rd exit
        from this r/bout and follow the signposts

        23.4  50.8449,-1.0968.  From the left two lanes to merge on to the M275 s/posted “M275 /
        Portsmouth (W)”.


        Follow the M275 until you see an exit on to the A3 for the city centre.

        On the A3 follow the brown “Seafront /Historic Waterfront” signs. You’ll find HMS Victory at
        Portsmouth Historic Dockyard Visitors Centre, Victory Gate at the end of Queen St.

        4.6 mi 50.7988, -1.1072 The entrance to the dockyard will be on your right. Look for an oval
        shaped multi-story building on your right  Turn right there for parking.  The historic dockyard is
        about 200m further along on the right.
