Turn r. That means you will have a castle wall on your left.

There’s a small car park along that street on your r. It’s closer to the castle entrance.

The Bar Bach on the r. claims to be the smallest bar in Wales. Probably is.

        Caernarfon to Stratford upon Avon

        Return to the Wales Menu

On the run from Caernarfon to Stratford you will encounter three totally different
        landscapes.

First the Llanberis Pass, some of the most beautiful, the most dramatic scenery in all of Britain.

Then as you cross back into England you’ll catch echoes of the first days of the Industrial
Revolution, perhaps explore some great English fortifications before ending your journey in
Stratford-upon-Avon, home of England’s greatest playwright, William Shakespeare whose plays,
500 years later, still fill houses and thrill audiences around the world.
