If you took the detour through the town you’ll rejoin the A26 at a roundabout a little further along
here.

13.2 mi 51.1255, 0.2565 Royal Tunbridge Wells.

As you come into the town there will be a carpark on your right. Look for The Forum, a music and
arts venue, on the rise just back from the road in the park.

You will go through a small r/bout and just past there turn r. on to Linden Park Rd for the Pantiles
Carpark on the left. If that is full there’s another carpark about 200 yds further on.

Expert Navigator Checkpoint: Look for The Grey Lady restaurant, the black and white building
on your left as you make that turn.

From Tunbridfge Wells you have a choice of routes:

1: Royal Tunbridge Wells to London Direct

Make your way back to the A26 and turn north. That will take you through the town following s/p to
“Tonbridge / London / Hastings / Maidstone”

3.5 mi 51.1778, 0.2604 Take the left lane to merge on to the Tonbridge Bypass, the A21, s/p
“Sevenoaks / London/ A21”.

9.4 mi 51.2876, 0.1434 Merge on to the M25, the London Orbital Motorway, s/p “M25 / (A21)”.

Follow the M25 in whichever direction best suits your destination.

If you are heading for Heathrow, take the West road.
