THE ENEMY IN-A-ME
MARK 5:11
Now there was near in the mountains a great herd of pigs feeding
about two thousand.
MARK 5:12
And all the devils pleaded to Jesus saying; Send us into the pigs,
that we may enter into them.
MARK 5:13 And Jesus gave them permission. And the unclean spirits went
out, and entered into the pigs and the herd ran violently down a steep place
into the lake, and they choked and drowned in the lake.
There was so much in this one man, that Jesus sent the demons, into the
heard of swine, as they requested. Not just one pig, but a whole herd of
them, the bible says two thousand. This was so much on the pigs, that they
broke their natural nature, and leaped into the lake, and chose rather to
drown than to live with what this man had been living with.
I wonder if you realize what Jesus just did. The demons made a request to
Jesus, for Him not to send them out of the country, and Jesus honored their
request. And if He will Honor the request of a demon, how much more will
He honor yours, if you would only ask. [1John 5:14&15]
It is a miracle that some of you are still here. After all of the attacks that you
been under, it's a miracle you're still here. You've been through so much
stuff, that if it would have been anybody else, it would have driven him crazy.
If it would have been anybody else, they would have blown their brains out.
Somebody else would have jumped into the lake. Somebody else would
have lost their mind. Somebody else would have self destructed. But you
made it. You ought to thank God that you're still here. All hell has come
against you, but through it all, God kept you. No one has any idea what
you've been through. Some of your friends are dead. Some of your running
buddies are dead. Some of your school mates are dead. Some of them have
lost their minds. Some are alcoholics, some are addicted to drugs, and some
are in prison. That is nothing but the swine, running into the lake. But
through all of your troubles, you’re still here, you might be limping, but
you’re still here. You may be wounded, but you’re still here, hurting, but
you’re still here. And as long as you are alive, you should declare war.
