Ants Be Gone Potion
Not For Human Consumption!
Keep Away From Pets
If ants enter your home as unwelcome guests, mix up a batch of this and they will soon be gone. Use
the same precautions you would with any insect poison. Boric Acid can be found in most pharmacies.
In years past it was used as an eye wash. It can also be found in hardware stores along with ant bait
and poisons. If you start to see more ants lapping up the potion, do not kill them. They are working for
you. They will take the potion back to their home and soon the ants will be gone.
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons of Boric Acid
3 cups warm water
Cotton balls
Bottle Caps
1. Mix the first 3 ingredients in a bottle and shake well. Make sure to label
the bottle with the contents.
2. Soak cotton balls in the solution and place in bottle caps.
3. Place the bottle caps in the area that you have seen the ants, but keep
away from pets and children. I place them on the kitchen counters be‐
hind a large appliance such as toaster oven or coffee machine. I also
place some outside near the entryways. (If you have outdoor pets you
will have to find a safe way to do this.) Perhaps put them under an up‐
side down clay flowerpot with a wedge under one side to let the ants
have access, but keep curious pets out.
4. At first ant population may increase, but soon you will have no ants.
