The Benefits of RoadCem Stabilisation for Large Shed
Projects
Project benefits gained from the use of RoadCem stabilisation:-
Reductions in piling costs, programme time and the imports of stone to site.
Floor slab cost reductions with replacement by a thinner, less reinforced bearing slabs
if cast directly over RoadCem stabilised material - Saving time and money.
All external HGV yard and car parking areas can also adopt RoadCem stabilised foundation
designs to reduce the surface layers (concrete slab or asphalt) eliminating the need for any
capping and sub-base layers. Allowing reduction in excavation and removal of waste from site
as a consequence.
RoadCem is not a ‘soft stabilisation’ technique it forms robust and highly durable layers and
will not soften over time or when exposed to flood events or saturated soils.
Programme and cost benefits achieved by all the above.
