donations

OPERATIONAL DEFINITION

Waqf is an endowment made by a Muslim to a religious, educational or charitable cause.
Donation refers to total amount received in the form of gifts, sponsorship, travelling grant, etc., to
the value of >RM3,000 each. Only transacted incomes into Higher Learning Institution’s account or
evidence of direct payment in the case of travelling grants, are counted.
