Twinkle, twinkle little star, daddy bought a motor car! Kindergarten chanted
in 2014. One of my favourite memories from Kindergarten was Mrs
Whitelaw’s famous songs. She would change a nursery rhyme a little bit and
my kindergarten self, had no idea how she made it up! Teachers walking by

were probably thinking it was a bit strange that the whole of kindergarten
was enthusiastically singing at lunch time. But I still remember some of the
                                      song now!!!!!

How does he do it?!? My 7year-old mind was thinking. How does Mr
Wheeler do it! One of my favourite memories from Year 1 was Mr Wheeler’s
Magic tricks. From making a ring disappear, the rope trick he would have his
year one Class in awe of it. I thought he must have been to magic school or something to learn all these
        amazing tricks!

All our eyes were glued to Mrs Walker as she read us a thrilling story by Roald Dahl. One of my favourite

memories from Year 2 was Mrs Walker love of Roald Dahl. She read heaps of Roald Dahl books. That year it
was 100 years since Roald Dahl had died, so on the day that he died we had a Roald Dahl party! There were
games like get the sour worm out of the slimy spaghetti with tongs from the twits !!There were
decorations, Roald Dahl bunting, Giant peaches and the twits hanging from the roof holding balloons. That
        was a super fun day!

Everyone froze. Trying not to move. We were playing Mr Maxwell's freeze game. My favourite memory
from Year 3 and 4 was Mr Maxwell’s freeze game. In the game Mr Maxwell would play different tunes on

the guitar every different tune would mean something different. There was a detective one where you had
to act like a detective, a hopping one were you had to hop around and when he stopped playing it you had
to freeze. If you moved you were out. And when he played the corner song on the guitar you had to find a
corner. Then he would spin the guitar on the ground and whichever corner it pointed to all the people in
that corner where out. That was definitely one of my favourite games!!

Choir. Dance. Soccer. One of my favourite memories from years 5 and 6 were all the opportunities we had.
In Year 5 I was in the touch and soccer team. In the soccer team we got invited to play at the state titles to
play the 13th placed team in competition we lost 5-nil. But it was a heap of fun. I was also in the dance
group and went to the Far North Coast Dance Festival which was also an amazing opportunity. The year 5

camp was also super great I did lots of things that I would've never thought I would have done! This year
because Covid-19 lots of things have been cancelled but I still got to be on the
debating team and debated via ZOOM. We also got to go on Year 6 camp
        which was awesome!

I will miss WRPS. I will miss all my friends. My amazing teachers, Mrs
Whitelaw and her songs, Mr Wheeler the magician, Mrs Walker and her
books, Mr Maxwell and his funny jokes and fun guitar game, Mrs Brewer-
Charles and her positive and cheerful attitude and Mrs Mckenna who taught

us so many lessons inside and out of the classroom. But I will always have the
memories. Memories that I will never forget.
