Sheffield & Hallamshire League (by Julian Barker)
       AFC Bentley top the Division One table with 19 points from seven games following their 6-2 win at
       Wakefield AFC Res. Gemma Harte was top individual scorer with four for Bentley whose other goals
       came from Jenna McGee and Hayley Wood. Bentley have now scored 24 goals from four away games,
       the individual match tallies being 5, 6, 6 and 7. Harriet Lloyd and Emily Walker were on target for
       Wakefield. Chesterfield Women are second on goal difference, but have played three games more.
       Chloe Foster, Leah Harrison, Steph O’Brien and Leona Stafford were their scorers in a 4-0 win at
       Rotherham Utd Whitehill. Barnsley (Women) Development suffered their first home defeat,
       going down 4-2 to Brunsmeer Athletic.
          Handsworth Development top Division Two with 21 points from eight games. They extended
       their 100% home record to five games with Emily Clayton (2) and Maheen Ahmed on the mark in a 3-2
       win over Sheffield Utd Community Development for whom this was a first defeat on the road.
       Jade  Burke  and  Channy  Rymer  replied  for  Sheffield.  Emily  Box  and  Tasha  Lindley  netted  for
       Swallownest who suffered their heaviest defeat of the season when losing 6-2 away to Penistone
       Church whose goals came from Jessica Barrow (2), Jess Ross (2), Caitlin Sammon and Courtney Wragg.
          AFC  Norton  Woodseats  consolidated  second  spot  in  Division  Three  with  a  3-0  win  over
       Charnock  Ridgeway  who  had  conceded  just  once  away  from  home  this  season.  Ellie  McHugh,
       Elizabeth Street and Harper Shillam were on the mark for Norton who are unbeaten at home, but have
       their work cut out to overtake leaders Staveley MW who are five points clear with both having played
       nine games. Wickersley Youth secured their first away points with Ellen Key (2) and Eve Allen on
       target in a 3-0 win at Eckington Belles.
          There were three ties played in the Shield. Carly Rowlands, with six, Shannon Hopkinson, Christy
       Long and Phoebe Munday were on the mark for Staveley Miners Welfare who were comfortable 9-1
       winners away to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic whose consolation came from Sarah Vickers. The tie
       between the bottom two teams in Division Two was even higher scoring, with Sheffield City, beaten
       in all eight league games to date, edging out hosts Dronfield Town Development 7-5. Laura Walsh
       scored  four  with  Molly  Jennings  (2)  and  Aimee  Whitehead  adding  the  others  for  Sheffield  with  a
       Summer Ingham hat-trick, Alice Dixon and Phoebe Yates the home scorers. The other tie went all the
       to a penalty shootout before Dearne & District prevailed at home to Middlewood Rovers. Goals
       from Kirsty Bentley and Emma Fleetwood had Dearne 2-0 up, but Middlewood hit back with Holly
       Fowler and Sam Hallam on the mark to take matters beyond the 90 minute mark.
       Somerset League
       Champions and league leaders Pen Mill saw their winning start to the season brought to an end as they
       were beaten 3-2 by Bath City Women. Annie Hervey netted twice and Ashanti Golding the other for
       Bath who narrowed the gap on their opponents to eight points. Ilminster Town Res follow on after
       a Sarah Stuckey goal earned them a 1-0 win over Wellington whilst Wells City pipped Banwell by
       the same scoreline, Jessica Darby-Jones scoring. Izzy Todeschini was on target for Bishop's Lydeard
       Res as they drew 1-1 with Portishead Town Res, for whom Heidi Bevan scored.
          Sarah Galley and Lucy Stacey each scored twice as Burnham Utd restored their seven point lead
       at  the  top  of  Division  Two  with  a  4-1  victory  over  Paulton  Rovers  Development.  Berrow
       meanwhile ran out 8-3 winners over Ashton FC Women, Emily Moreton hitting a hat-trick along
       with Zoe Mizon (2), Chloe Williams (2) and Amy Jones, meanwhile Hutton notched up a 4-1 victory
       against Cheddar thanks to a Josie Cherson hat-trick and Charlotte Suktem. Georgia Perkins was on
       target  six  times  for  Porlock  in  their  victory  at
       Woodspring Women Res, Kezia Elson added  Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire
       a  further  five  and  others  came  from  Elizbeth
