England hit ten again

       Latvia 0
       England 10 (Toone 8,12,68, White 25, Bright 32, Mead 55, Daly 70,82,
       Williamson 79, Stanway 81)
England hit ten goals for the second away match in succession as they once again
       ruthlessly put away poor opponents.
They were given the perfect start by taking an eighth minute lead, Ella Toone
capitalising on a defensive mistake to coolly sidefoot home the opener past Enija-Anna
       Vaivode.
Toone was on the scoresheet again with another finish after being set up by Fran
Kirby who then set up another chance for Beth England shortly afterwards but she
       missed the target.
Mille Bright volleyed a shot against the post but another error was to lead to the
third goal, a weak goal kick from Vaivode being intercepted by Toone who duly found
White to plant her shot into the far corner - her 44th goal for her country.
There was better luck for Bright as she further extended England’s lead seven
minutes later, bundling in at the far post foillowing a Toone free kick, and whilst
Lauren Hemp became the latest player to hit the woodwork, the winger had been fouled
in the area by Vaivode in the process of making the shot. White stepped up to take the
resulting penalty but her shot was saved by Vaivode, who did well to get up an block the
       rebound from Mead.
Sarina Wiegman made four changes at half time but this did not affect the
pattern of the game as England continued to look for further goals in the second half.
The next goal was ten minutes in coming; Mead cut in from the left and slid a
low shot inside the far post to complete a good few days’ work for the Arsenal striker.
Mead was involved in the next goal, her cushioned pass finding Toone near the
goal line, where she tricked her way past Sandra Voitane and fired an angled shot into
the roof of the net for her hat-trick.
Rachel Daly was next to join the spree , tapping home from point blank range
when being set up by Mead after England’s shot had initially been blocked.
A quickly taken corner led to Leah Williamson finding space in the area and
curling home a shot from ten yards. Two minutes later, Georgia Stanway slid home a
low left foot strike from just inside the area and the rout was completed eight minutes
from time, as Mead’s through ball released Daly who rounded Vaivode before rolling
       into the empty net.
