Just the two games were played in the Premier Division on Saturday due to the FA Vase
commitments. Malvern Town took the opportunity to replace Cribbs at the top of the
table by easing to a 4-1 win at Calne Town. Joe Bates, Dave Reynolds and Matt Turner
shared the goals with Fabian Stanislas hitting back for the home side.
In the other game played, Westfields maintained their challenge but only just, pipping
Fairford Town 5-4 to move within five points of the new leaders. On target for Westfields

were Josh Hunt, Richard Greaves, Harrison Summers, an own goal and a 90 -minute winner
from substitute Cawley Cox. Fairford had replies from Jack Beardsell, Robbie James, Ross
Langworthy and George Peare.
In the Buildbase FA Vase Second Round Qualifying, Hellenic clubs had mixed results.
Cribbs were pushed all the way by plucky challengers from Division One, Shortwood
United, and need a penalty shoot-out to finally book their place in the First Round Proper.
Josh Beadle shocked the Premier Division leaders who went through to meet Andover New
Street by winning 5-4 from the spot.
Chipping Sodbury Town routed Western League Bristol Telephones 6-1. On target
were Sol Pryce 2, Josh Coombe, Kye Simpson, Abdoulie Tunkara and Connor Walden.
Goals from Ross Lye and Harvey Baker saw Bradford Town overcome Odd Down (Bath)
and Wiltshire neighbours Royal Wootton Bassett Town were 3-1 victors at Portishead
Town thanks to Alan Griffin, Tom Ouldridge and John Mills.
Jacob Geddes, Joe Shutt and an own goal saw Tuffley Rovers edge pat Fleet Spurs 3-2
at Glevum Park.
Hallen slipped put of the competition on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Wokingham &
Emmbrook. Martin Stowell netted their goal. Bishops Cleeve were another team to lose
out from the spot after sharing a 4-4 draw with Warminster Town. Kieran Alder 2, Steve
Davies and Jack Watts were their marksmen.
Milton United ran out 6-0 winners over Woodley United with goals coming from Tom
Stanley 3, Ollie Nadin 2 and Casey Highmoor.
David Waters netted a consolation goal for Cheltenham Saracens in a 3-1 reverse at
Western League leaders and Vase semi-finalists two years ago - Bitton.
Studley won 2-0 at Stafford Town after goals from Alfie Bloomer and Jordan Murphy, but
there were 2-1 exits for Pershore Town and Worcester Raiders against Whitchurch
Airport and Atherstone Town respectively. Abingdon United were handed a 10-1 hiding
by Berks County, whilst Hereford Pegasus went out 2-0 at Wednesfield.
