Gloucestershire League
Bristol Rovers Development have gone level on points with leaders Bitton after beating
Tuffley Rovers 2-0. Cheltenham Saracens complete a trio of teams level on points at the top
following their 2-2 draw against Gloucester City, who are just two points off the pace. Rakiya
Morgan-King netted both goals for Gloucester, with Saracens responding through Melissa
Devereux and Amie Boyce. Bishop's Cleeve continued their improving form by beating
Abbeymead Rovers 6-0, Lucie Cummings and Ella Sharpe each scoring twice along with
Saffron O'Brien and Imogen O'Brien.
Red Falcon Women have opened up a lead of four points at the top of Division Two with
a 4-3 victory against City of Gloucester. Harriet Mason and Issey Cannon each scored twice for
Red Falcon, whilst the visitors replied with goals from Eve Clarke (2) and Charlotte Bullingham.
AEK Boco Res meanwhile recovered from being two down early on to win 7-3 against
Longlevens, a result which takes them back up to third. Ilarna Nche, Shania Powell and
Courtney Smith all netted twice along with Shelby Lacey, with Hayley Pitt (2) and Rachael Yates
replying.
Division Three leaders Southmead Community Sport got back to winning ways with a
4-0 victory against Andoversford, in which Jordan Scowen netted twice along with Lauren Cox
and Samantha Cole. Bristol Ladies Union defeated Kingswood Women 8-3 and remain
well in touch with the leading sides, Raya Langford bagging a hat-trick with Amber Garton (2),
Charlotte Lewis (2) and Phoebe Neville also on target. Dyana Peacey netted twice and Elizabeth
Swyer the other for Kingswood. Winchcombe Town continue to move up the table, Emily
Wright (2), Holly Talbot and Lucy Thatcher accounting for the goals as they ran out 4-0 winners
away to Downend Flyers A.
Bitton are through to the quarter finals of the Gordon Perrett League Cup after coming
through a potentially tricky tie away to Whitchurch & Bristol with a 4-1 victory. Abbie
Woodley-Marshall netted twice along with Rebecca Sullivan and Anna Munday, whilst Ashley
Taylor scored a consolation for the home side. Bristol & West meanwhile ran out 5-0 winners
over Downend Flyers Res, Emma Bowden scoring two of the goals while Aimee Clark, Emma
Cove and Becky Billing added the others.
Greater London League
Katy Hanscomb scored twice and Kayleigh Peters added the other as Actonians Ladies Res
defeated Regents Park Rangers 3-1 to maintain their three point lead in the Premier Division.
Second placed Islington Borough won 4-1 against Camden Town thanks to Freya Glen (2),
Chi-Sheng Chein and Mia Fadeni. Headstone Manor were 3-1 winners over UCL
Academicals, Erica Augsten netting twice and Ujevara Breznica the other.
Leyton Orient preserved their four point advantage at the top of Division One North with
a 4-1 victory against AFC Leyton, Jordan Feldman (2), Olivia Worsfold and Shanice Taylor-
Newsam were all on target. Kasey Clifford was on target four times as second placed Brentford
B defeated Forest Crusaders 7-2, Abigail Claringbold (2), and Josephine Shand completing
the scoring. Amber Clarke and Alex Milne both scored as Tower Hamlets beat Hackney Res
2-0 whilst Emma Welch and Anotnia Cole gave Actonians Ladies 3rds a 2-1 success at East
London Ladies. Sapphire Rohan scored a hat-trick, along with Sanam Shahid (2) and an own
goal, as Luton Town Res ran out 6-1 winners over Enfield Town 3rds.
Division One South leaders Tooting Bec were 3-0 victors at South London Laces
thanks to an Olivia Griffiths hat-trick. This keeps them three points in front of Hammersmith
who beat Sporting Duet 3-1 with goals from Ashley Nevey, Madeleine Hills and Evita Stucky.
Martha Goddard (2), Georgia Johnson and Cassie Sternbach netted the goals as third placed
South London Women won 4-0 against CB Hounslow Utd, to stay just ahead of Balham
Panthers who beat South East Parakeets 4-0, with singles from Lily Hale, Mary Hayden,
Laura Johnson and Jemma King. Rachel Wood scored for Wandsworth Borough as they
shared a 1-1 draw with Kenningwell Utd.
