P. 3
Good afternoon all. Today we take a
break from league action and we
welcome Long Crendon FC from the
Spartan South Midland League to the
AJN for this FA Vase tie. I hope that
they enjoyed a pleasant journey here
from Buckinghamshire and we extend
a warm welcome to their players ,
officials and supporters together with
this afternoon’s referee Mark Loughlin
and his assistants Sam Thorne & Jake
Richards.
I'm not really sure what to say about
our last league game here against
Exmouth Town a week ago today. We huffed and puffed a lot but
fell a long way short of blowing he house down and Exmouth ran out
worthy winners on the day. Whilst the cup provides a welcome
distraction we know that we will need to step up a notch or two today
if we are going to progress.
Next Saturday we are looking forward to the short trek to local rivals
Bitton. Bitton are flying and it is sure to be an keenly contested affair.
It would be lovely to see our supporters there in numbers and I know
how much that would mean to the lads.
I hope that you enjoy the game today and thank you all for your
valued support.
