SAM HUNT – DEFENDER Sam is a much-travelled defender, having played for Westfields, Pegasus, Lads Club and
Cinderford Town, and returned to Westfields at the end of last season.

HARRISON IDDLES – MIDFIELD Harrison joined us this season from Bishops Cleeve where he proved to be a hard-
working midfield player who caught the eye on a couple of occasions against Westfields in league matches. Scored a
cracking goal here at the beginning of the season in our pre-season programme against Bristol Manor Farm.

HARRISON SUMMERS – STRIKER Youngster who joined us this summer from Hereford Pegasus and has already
proved that he will be an excellent addition to the squad as he scored in a pre-season friendly against Bristol Manor
Farm.

MATT MACDONALD – MIDFIELD Matt joined us from Cinderford Town where he was an excellent member of their
Southern League South & West side. Matt has already shown in pre-season that he is a hard-working midfield man
who will be an excellent addition to the side.

CAWLEY COX – STRIKER Cawley is a youngster who joined us from Pegasus Juniors and is certainly a player to
watch for the future. Featured in all our pre-season friendlies and should be an excellent addition to the club squad.

SAM GWYNNE - DEFENDER Experienced defender or midfield player who made over 100 football league
appearances for Hereford United before he joined Westfields 9 seasons ago. Another member of our FA Cup
giantkilling squad and has been a keen reliable member of the team ever since, making well over 220 appearances for
Westfields.

IAN HAVARD – GOALKEEPER Joined Westfields 3 seasons ago after spending time at Ludlow Town, Shawbury
United, Shrewsbury Town, Newtown and Bangor City. Big experienced goalkeeper who has been a valuable part of
the Westfields squad. Reliable keeper. Should have a good season with us.

JOE DAVIES – DEFENDER Joined us this summer from Wellington and has proved in pre-season a valuable signing,
scoring 5 goals with powerful headers from set pieces. Has settled in well at Westfields. A good future ahead of him.

HENRY DYDE – DEFENDER Joined Westfields 2 seasons ago from Malvern Town and is a young attacking full-back
who caught the eye with a number of impressive displays last year including an outstanding goal in the FA Vase.

CRAIG JONES - MIDFIELD One of Westfields’ best players over the past 50 years, having been with the club for 10
years. Took a break out last year due to work and family commitments but hopefully will be back this season. Brilliant
midfield player who conducts the play from the middle of the field. Scores vital goals including penalties. Was a
prominent member of our 2016-2017 FA Cup giantkilling side.

MATT APPERLEY – GOALKEEPER Joined us this summer from neighbours Wellington FC. Big, tall, impressive
goalkeeper who has played a number of pre-season games already.

MAX COLEY A youngster who joined us again in the summer of this year and has played in a number of pre-season
games and has been very impressive. Tall midfield player. Good passer of the ball. Looks to have a good future here
at Westfields.

DANIEL POLAN - STRIKER Re-joined Westfields this season after having a year out for travelling. Was a prominent
member of our FA Cup squad in 2016/2017, having previously played for Worcestershire clubs. Good striker. Strong
and powerful.
