View from the dugout

Despite not playing well we s ll managed a 5-1 win against Longwell Green.
Goals from Asa, Dean 2 & George 2 gave us the victory. We lost Macca early
with a calf injury but hopefully he will be fit for Saturday.

George Jones is in a rich vein of form at the moment scoring 9 goals in his
last 3 games and it certainly helps when you got goals from numerous
players rather than relying on just one.

Our form is unbelievable at the moment 20 wins on the spin & only 1
league defeat since August and a + 85 GD.

We know we have to keep going as we have no doubt Wells & Nailsea will
put the pressure on us un l it’s done & dusted.

Tonight we face our local rivals Keynsham in the league cup. Even though
they are struggling in the Premier Division they are coming off a good result
against Ilfracombe and with most local derbies form goes out the window.
We know a semi final against Shepton Mallet awaits.

We would like to wish the best to Ash McGrane who has rejoined AEK Boco.
We know what a good player he’s is but his pre season injury & recovery
meant he was coming back into a side with a winning mentality & despite
the squad rota on was not ge ng the minutes he wanted.

Next up is the top of the table clash v Wells we know that a win will put us
with in touching distance of winning the league but know Wells will want to
       push it to the wire.

       Enjoy the game
