Lincoln Utd have reached the League Cup Final after they ended the Cup run of Ilkeston
Town with a 5-2 victory. Tracey Duxbury-Mead was on target four times and Demi Barai added
the other for Lincoln, whilst Nicole Butterfield and Ashleigh Evans replied for the Division One
Central side. Lincoln's opponents in the Final will be Arnold Eagles, who won a thrilling semi
final 4-3 against Oughtibridge WM. Eve Shaw hit a hat-trick, with Natasha Leach also on
target for Arnold, whose achieve is all the more remarkable seeing that they have not won a
league match so far this season. Kathryn Mudge, Lucy Ridley and Emily Fowler all netted for
Oughtibridge as they fell just short at the last hurdle.
Nottingham Trent University and Loughborough Foxes Vixens will meet in this
season's League Plate Final after the sides came through contrasting semi finals on Sunday.
Alice Rogers (2), Quinn Garner (2) and Ellie McKeegan accounted for the goals as Nottingham
Trent University defeated Sherwood FC Women 5-1, Katie Fish replying, whilst a much
tighter affair in the other game saw Loughborough Foxes Vixens triumph 4-2 on penalties
against Thrapston Town, after the teams had battled out a goalless draw.
The only league action over the weekend came in Division One North, with a full set of
fixtures. Things are incredibly tight at the top with just a single point covering the first three
matches, with Grimsby Town regaining the leadership from Gainsborough Trinity on
goal difference after winning their meeting 3-0, with a goal each from Alisha Dejonge, Emily
Blyth and Ellie Wilson. Sleaford Town are just one point adrift following their 2-0 success
away to Lincoln Utd Development, Jade Baker and Lauren Alderson scoring their goals. St
Josephs Rockware of Worksop meanwhile ran out 4-0 winners over Grimsby Borough,
their markswomen were Charlotte Finch, Beth Gingell, Deysha Pressley and Abbie Lister.
Eastern Region League
The Premier Division title race is fast becoming a wide open one and leaders Stevenage
Women saw their advantage cut to two points after they went down to a 1-0 defeat at the hands

points off the pace along with second placed AFC Sudbury, who also narrowed the gap by
winning 1-0 at Luton Town with a goal from Holly Kennard. Haringey Borough meanwhile
have dragged themselves back into the running, Shakira Roberts hitting a hat-trick in their 5-1
victory over Wroxham. Victoria Campbell and Kylie Manktelow added their other goals, with
Hayley Kindred replying. Whitney Locke and Kelsey Smith were on target as Bowers & Pitsea
won 2-1 at Royston Town and Colney Heath continued their climb away from danger by
beating Bedford Ladies 2-0 with goals from Elsbeth Cunningham and Esme Hume.
It was a good day for AFC Dunstable in Division One North, goals from Mollie Burgess,
Mollie Knox, Jodi McClelland and Gemma Whitchurch giving them a 4-0 victory over
Fakenham Town whilst second placed Biggleswade Utd lost 1-0 to St Ives Town,
meaning they now head the table by three points. Yaxley Phoenix meanwhile got back to
winning ways with a 2-1 success at Newmarket Town, Yasmin Green netting a brace and
