Gloucestershire League
Bristol Rovers Development extended their lead at the top of Division One to six points
as they scored six without reply against Bishop's Cleeve. Helena Costa and Shannon
Francis each scored twice along with Poppy Wannell and Gift Ihejieto. Bitton leapt up into
second place and are still in the driving seat as they have four games in hand on the leaders.
Abbie Woodley-Marshall netted a brace as Bitton won 4-2 away to Bristol & West. Hayley
Honeywell and Edie Hopton weighed in with the other goals, whilst Emma Bowden and
Beth Clatworthy replied for the home side. Dursley Town meanwhile moved themselves
closer towards mid-table by beating Tuffley Rovers 2-0, thanks to a brace from Katie
Hooper.
Cheltenham Civil Service have gone four points clear at the top of Division Two
following their 4-2 victory over Downend Flyers Res. Gemma Riley (2), Petra Ratajova
and Harmony Wheeler were the markswomen for Civil Service, who stay in the hunt for
three trophies this season, whilst Downend's replies came from Annabel Bean and Orla
Montgomery. Whitchurch & Bristol meanwhile kept up their good form with a 4-0
success away to Longlevens in which Hannah Gillett hit a hat-trick and Faith Constable
the other. Anna Margetts, Charlotte Robbins, Bec Brannan, Eden Marsh and Isla Norton all
scored for Cirencester Town in their 5-2 victory at Gloucester City Development,
Chloe Morgan and Felicity Pritchard replying.
Michaela Dowie scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot as Division
Three leaders Southmead Community Sport were beaten 1-0 by Ellwood Ladies,
who have brought themselves back into the frame. SGS Olveston Utd Res follow on after
beating Winchcombe Town 3-0 with goals from Chloe Davies, Abby Shipway and Paige
Fowler. Dyana Peacey netted both goals as Kingswood Women won 2-1 against
Downend Flyers A, whose consolation came from Chloe Avent.
Greater London League
Comets are the new league leaders after they ran out 7-1 winners over previously unbeaten
Islington Borough. Kirsten Walker bagged a hat-trick, with Michelle Keating (2),
Rosalind Duignan-Pearson and Clara MacLeod adding the others to take Comets top on
goal difference from Actonians Ladies Res, who were beaten 4-2 by Richmond & Kew.
Charlotte Close, Ellysia Crabb, Brooke Leigh-Bridges and Jessica Roberts scored their
goals, with Katy Handscomb and Kayleigh Peters replying.
Shanice Taylor-Newsam, Shakira Waithe and Layla-May Duffield were all on the
scoresheet as Leyton Orient went seven points clear at the top of Division One North with
a 3-1 victory over Hackney. Tower Hamlets meanwhile defeated Actonians Ladies
3rds 4-0, a result which takes them into third, Ella Vickers-Strutt hitting a hat-trick and
Georgie Goodwin the other. East London Ladies were 3-1 winners over Luton Town
Res thanks to Courtney Powell (2) and Ayse Yuksel.
In Division One South, Makesha MacFarlane netted four times and Safoa Tweneboad
added the other as Kenningwell Utd won 5-3 against South East Parakeets, to avenge
their defeat to the same opponents seven days earlier. Wandsworth Borough meanwhile
won for only the second time this season, 2-1 at CB Hounslow Utd thanks to Kirsty
Mulcahey and Kathryn Percival.
Tooting Bec booked their place in the quarter finals of the John Greenacre Memorial
Trophy with a 2-0 victory over Premier Division Camden Town. Bryony Bancroft netted
both goals to take the Division One South side into the last eight.
