A Word from the Chairman….
Good afternoon and welcome to the
Players, Officials and Supporters of
Chard Town Football Club. We hope
they enjoy their visit to BBS Park the
home of Mendip Broadwalk and
have a safe journey home this
evening.
Today marks the half way point in
terms of games. Things are
currently looking pretty good. We sit top of the league and have
reached the quarter final of the league cup. We were knocked out the
Somerset FA Senior Cup by today’s opponents in a 1-0 defeat.
The lads will be looking for revenge today in what is sure to be a
tough game as Chard are one of the form teams in the league since
their recent change in management.
You will notice work continues to improve the facility and BBS Park to
bring us inline with Western League standards. The ambition of the
club is to achieve this sooner rather than later. Only time will tell if we
have the squad and the facility. As always we’ll be giving it
everything !!
