The Women’s FA Cup

Division One clubs in the FA Women's National League have
done really well in the Women's FA Cup this season and five
teams from that level will be in the last 32, the stage when the
top two tiers enter the competition.
Three of them took scalps from a higher
       level, including who defeated
1-0. The Suffolk side are having an
excellent season in Division One South East and
claimed a notable victory with Paige Peake scoring the
only goal of the game, seven minutes before half time.
Ipswich will now be away to
who staged the comeback of the day as they
came from two down at half time to win 3-2 away to
                       . The prolific Becky McGrother
netted a first half brace to put Loughborough
seemingly in control of matters at the break but goals
in a fourteen minute spell from Lucy Sowerby, Ellie
White and Kate Mallin stunned the home side in the Cardiff City Ladies striker Grace Horrell tries to get
second half and gave Town a superb victory. away from Kirsty Whitton of Southampton FC.
                           meanwhile claimed another
higher division victim as they won 2-1 at . Jasmine Turner opened the scoring for
Cardiff in the ninth minute but the Saints hit back to level shortly afterwards through Ella Pusey
and Kirsty Whitton scored what turned out to be the winner, three minutes into the second half.
Kayla Rendell made a brilliant save from a Nadia Lawrence free kick as Southampton held on to
keep their winning run going and earn themselves a tie in the next round against .
join their local rivals in the Fourth Round as they produced a fine
result of their own, beating 3-1 and they will now be up against
. Erin Bloomfield netted a goal in each half and Jane Yeates was also on target, whilst
Albion's consolation came from Trina Greaves (see match report).
are the fourth team from that level definitely through, following a hard fought
1-0 win away to . The home side took their proud record of not losing in the last
calendar year into the game but it was Barnsley who took the spoils on the day, thanks to a penalty
from Kathryn Smith midway through the first half. Barnsley have landed a plum reward in the draw
as they will now travel to Barclays FA WSL side .
Two of the top four teams in the Northern Premier Division met each other in an eagerly
anticipated tie and it is who go through after a narrow 2-1 success against
. After a goalless first half, Forest took the lead just after the hour mark with a
goal from Bolu Fisher but Sarah Agger brought the teams level, before Nicola Worthington scored
the winning goal for Burnley with six minutes remaining. The Clarets have been rewarded with a
home tie in the Fourth Round against Championship side .
strode impressively into the next round by running out 5-0 winners over fellow
Southern Premier Division high fliers . The teams had met three weeks earlier in
the league, with Watford edging out Argyle by the odd goal in nine on that occasion, but this time
a Katie O'Leary hat-trick spearheaded a convincing win, with Helen Ward and Danielle Scanlon
adding the others. Watford must wait and see who their opponents will be as they will be away to
either or in another tie which will guarantee a National League side in
       the last sixteen.
One other tie is still outstanding and is set to be played this week. will take
on in a game which will see another Division One side go through, with a trip to
            on offer for the winners.
