       The County Leagues...

       Gloucestershire League
Longwell Green took the runners-up position in Division One after they finished their
season with a 7-1 victory away to Longlevens. Kate Michael once again led the scoring for
Longwell with a hat-trick, Abbie Woodley-Marshall netted twice and also on target were Lucy
Werrett and Rebecca Sullivan. Olveston Utd had started the day in second place but,
although they had led the table for much of the season, they will have to settle for third
following a 2-2 draw with Bishop's Cleeve. Isabelle Torrington netted for Cleeve along with
an own goal, whilst Olveston's goals came via Amy Carter and Rosanna Blacker. In the other
game, Bristol & West and Gloucester City finished level at 1-1. Emma Bowden scored an
injury time equaliser for Bristol & West, to give them a result which secures a top half finish for
them, after an own goal had put Gloucester ahead.
Bristol Rovers Development are confirmed as Champions in Division Two after
they won their top of the table clash 4-2 against Dursley Town. The visitors went into the
game still harbouring hopes of a possible three trophies but goals from Helena Costa, Rosie
Hall, Alva Lang and Tamsin Shiply gave Rovers the result they needed to put themselves
beyond the reach of their rivals, whilst Dursley's replies came from Morgan Tayler and Phoebe
Booth. Dursley remain in the driving seat for second place but Tuffley Rovers kept their
chances alive by winning a high scoring affair 6-5 away to Ellwood Ladies. Chloe Taylor hit
a hat-trick along with Holly Kay, Ellie Windo and Beth Parker to give Tuffley victory despite
Ellwood responding through doubles from Grace Reed and Sophie Drain, plus a Tia Watts goal.
The three matches in the division produced a total of 25 goals between them, with the
remaining eight being shared between Cheltenham Civil Service and Cirencester Town.
Jessica Brown (2), Jasmine Hart and Gemma Riley were the markswomen for the home side,
whilst Ciren's goals came from an Eden Marsh brace, Jodie Bailey and Bec Brannan.
The title race in Division Three took a huge twist as leaders Bradley Stoke were
toppled by Whitchurch & Bristol. Sarah Coles, Ilarna Nche, Faith Constable and Hannah
Gillett scored the goals which have taken Whitchurch top of the table for the first time this
season and two wins from their last two games will give them the title. Bradley netted a
consolation through Hollie Shone and are two points behind their opponents, although they
are virtually certain of a top two place after Bristol Ladies Union Development were
