Mitch Osmond - After a spell at Cardiff City Academy, Mitch joined the Under-
18 squad at Clevedon, making his first team debut in August 2018, before
leaving to captain Portishead and returning to the Seasiders in July 2020.
Cameron Salmon – Signed, after an initial month’s loan, in December 2021
from Bristol City where he was a member of their Under-23 squad having
progressed through their ranks over the previous 3 years.
Luca Smith – Goalkeeper signed from Bristol City Under18’s on long term
match experience in September 2021 for the season and has won the Welsh
Schools Cup in 2018 and has Welsh Schoolboy caps. Luca returned to City in
February 2022 for a further trial before returning to the Hand again.
Ryan Thacker – Goalkeeper signed in August 2022 after relocating to the area
from the Midlands. Ryan had previous experience in the Southern League with
Quorn and Shepshed Dynamo, amongst others.
Alex Twiggs - Rejoined the club in September 2021 from Hallen after an
earlier spell at Clevedon between 2018 and 2020; has also played for
Portishead and Bridgwater.
Henry Westlake – Made his debut in the opening match of 2022/23 after
coming through the Under-18 squad.
The Management Team
Alex White (Manager) - Alex was appointed club manager in October 2021
after initially serving as assistant to previous Micky Bell until he left to join
Bristol City. An experienced player Alex, who first signed for the club in July
2015, spent the 2014/15 season coaching with the North Somerset
Development Team and at Clevedon with the Under-18 and first team squads.
He also made an emergency debut as a goalkeeper in the 2016/17 season.
Ryan King (Assistant Manager) – Ryan played for Clevedon’s reserve side as
a youngster back in the early 1990s and had a successful career as a striker
with Salisbury and Bridgwater Town. He went on to score over 100 goals for
Nailsea United before turning to coaching at the club and as chairman of
Nailsea Juniors. He re-joined us in October 2019 as part of the coaching team
and made a surprise substitute appearance in August 2021 at Brislington,
before being appointed as Alex White’s assistant in October 2021.
Matt Gregory (Goalkeeping Coach) – Matt moved up from the Under-18
squad in July 2022 to coach our goalkeepers as well as acting as a back-up
between the sticks.
Robbie Riddicks (Strength & Conditioning Coach) – Robbie joined the club in
July 2022 to take charge of the players’ fitness and conditioning.
Hannah Lewis (Physio) – Hannah joined the club just after the start of the
2015/16 season and has done a sterling job for the club in that time.
