       Rogers Returns to
       Tiverton

       Pitching  In  Southern  League  Premier
       Division South club Tiverton Town have re-
       signed   experienced   defender   George
       Rogers.

       The 33-year-old is the son of Tiverton legend
       and former manager Martyn Rogers.
       He  left  the  Yellows  to  join  Toolstation
       Western League Premier Division side Bitton
       AFC  for  2021/22  but,  unfortunately,  they
       have recently had to pull out of the league.
       He made his first Yellows appearance back in
       2007  before  re-joining  at  the  start  of  the
       2014/15 season.
       He spent a large part of the 2018/19 season at Western League Wellington AFC after making
       2 appearances in the Southern League Cup for the Tivvy first-team.

       Brooks Makes Melksham Move

       Melksham Town have signed forward Ben Brooks from Pitching In Southern League Division
       One South rivals Cinderford Town.
       Born in Newport, he started his career with home-town League Two side Newport County.
       The 26-year-old played for Toolstation Western League side Bitton AFC before joining then-
       Southern Division One South outfit Mangotsfield United for the first time in 2015.

                                                 He left for Larkhall Athletic and joined
                                                 Yate Town during 2017/18, where he
                                                 scored 16 goals.
                                                 He  returned  to  Mangotsfield  in  June
                                                 2019  and  then  switched  to  Western
                                                 Leaguers Cadbury Heath a year later.
                                                 He  switched  to  Cinderford  in  June
                                                 2021.
                                                 Melksham  manager  Richard  Fey  told
                                                 his  club’s  website:  “Ben  wanted  a
                                                 fresh challenge and has always done
                                                 well against  us,  and  this  year  so  far
                                                 has  10  goals  in  16  games.  He  is  a
                                                 great signing for the club, and we look
                                                 forward to working with him”.
