Welcome to the Lancer Scott Stadum

Good afternoon, I would like to offer a
warm welcome to you all, particularly to
the officials, players and supporters of
Falmouth Town who made the very long
Bank holiday trip from deepest Cornwall,
I hope you enjoy your day with us and
        have a safe trip home.
        Following Saturday’s 2-1 win V Knaphill
, we are through to the 2 qualifying
                                 nd
round of the FA vase, the draw has
already been made . We welcome
another Combined Counties Premier south side, Camberley Town, to be played
        on Saturday September 24 .
                                th
Falmouth Town, were promoted to the Toolstation Premier Division this season
following a very successful 2021/22 in the South West Peninsula league west,
winning it in some style, 21 points clear of 2 place Liskeard. We did play each
                                               nd
other in the FA Vase around 2014 when Rich Coombes was manager. Coomber
reminded me, we were winning 2-0, the game changed following Paris Allen’s
sending off. Falmouth pulled it back to 2-2, taking the game into extra time.
Falmouth scored, 3-2, in the last minute young Coomber (in Goal) went up for
a corner and his header hit the cross bar.
                                          th
Falmouth are 3 places below us in 10 place with 7 points from 5 games. We
expect a very tough game today.
