Beech’s Bench Talk
Good afternoon and welcome to the
Lancer Scott stadium for the visit of
newly promoted Falmouth Town. Today
will be our 10 game since 30 july,
th
th
games coming thick and fast. I am
hoping we don’t have any injuries from
the 48 hours ago Vs Knaphill in the FA
Vase.
I was obviously very pleased with
Saturday’s result, we weren’t at our
best, it was a hard working
performance with a depleted squad.
Congratulations to Joe Banks who
typified the team performance, capping
it off with his 1 goal for the club. Oscar
st
got the winner, following up Catts
thunderbolt free kick.
The draw has already been made for the 2 qualifying round,
nd
Camberley visit us on Saturday sept. 24 .By coincidence,
th
Camberley are only a few miles from Knaphill and play in the same
step 5 league, the Combined Counties Premier division.
Some good news, Sam Thomas played his 1 90 minutes with the
st
Reserves on Saturday, since his knee operation, hopefully there
won’t be a reaction and we see him in training thursady. Talking of
knees, Jack Sells recovery from a knee problem sustained in april
@ Buckland is taking longer than expected and could be another 6
weeks or so before we see him training.
First we must focus on trying to get 3 points from what expect to
be a very tough game.
Hope you all enjoy the game, get behind the lads and I will see you
in the bar after the game.
