Sheffield & Hallamshire League
Adverse weather again greatly reduced the number of games played. There was just one
match in Division One where Sheffield Utd Community Foundation recorded a 5-0
victory over Rotherham Utd Whitehill, a result which kept them in third spot, but now
just two points behind leaders Harworth Colliery who have played a game more. Hannah
Barden bagged a hat-trick with Amy Cooper and Amber Wells the other scorers as the hosts
recorded their highest home win of the season.
Leaders Handsworth Development made it ten wins from ten games in Division
Two as they, perhaps not unexpectedly, finished 3-0 winners over Sheffield Wednesday
Development. Holly Jenkins (2) and Sam Woodham were on target for Handsworth who
have won all four at home without conceding
a goal, though three matched their lowest one Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire
match tally of the season. Second place PREMIER DIVISION P W D L F A Pts
