Yate Town’s League Cup campaign is over after falling to a surprise 2-1 home
defeat by Division One South side Cirencester Town. Ben Whitehead gave Ciren
the lead, but Owen Brain marked his full debut for Yate with the equalizer soon
afterwards. Aiden Bennett grabbed the winner for the visitors with ten minutes
       remaining.

Bristol Manor Farm and Paulton Rovers fought out an exciting 2-2 draw at The
Creek before Paulton booked a place in the next round by wining 7-6 in the
resulting penalty shoot-out. Will Harvey gave Paulton a first half lead which was
overturned after the interval by two goals from Owen Howe. However, George
Fowler levelled the scores for Paulton on 90 minutes to force the penalty
       competition.

Slimbridge had a similar success against Cinderford Town on Wednesday.
Jamie Martin put the home side ahead in the 12 minute only for Lewis Bamford to
                                                 th
level before half time. Martin’s second goal restored The Swans lead but again the
visitors came back through Harry Emmett to send the game to penalties.
       Slimbridge won the shoot-out 4-3.

Mangotsfield United’s hopes were dashed by Melksham Town as early as the
third minute when Albert Hopkins netted. Further goals followed from Luke
Ballinger 2, , two more from Hopkins completing his hat trick and one from
Vaughan Covil to see them win 7-0. Of course it didn’t help Mangos cause to play
at least an hour with only nine players having had two sent off in the opening half
       hour.

Weston super Mare were a rare local success with a narrow 3-2 victory over
Frome Town at Woodspring Park. Bristol City loanee Prince Henry gave them an
eighth minute lead only to see James Ollis equalize five minutes later for Frome.
The visitors went ahead shortly after the break but Adam Smith levelled the scores
three minutes later, and Lloyd Humphries fired the Seagulls into the next round
       after 66 minutes.
Salisbury crashed out 3-1 at home to Swindon Supermarine. Tyrone Duffus,
Chris Zeroski and an own goal gave Marine their passage whilst Darren Mullings
scored a consolation goal for the home side.

Today’s visitors Chesham United eased into the next stage with a 3-0 success
over Beaconsfield Town with goals coming from David Pearce, Anton Hooper
       and Showkat Tahir.
