Brentford claimed a 3-1 extra time victory against Parkwood Rangers in the League
Trophy, Sophie Troth, Chloe Logie and Jodie Reid scoring their goals. Ashford Ladies scored
eight times without reply past Clapham Utd, Jade Steadman netting twice along with Katie
Hardaker, Kayleigh Harris, Karis Howard, Yasmin Howard, Ronni Jeffrey and Rebecca Janes.
Sport London e Benfica edged past Maidstone Utd with a 3-2 win, given to them by Shivani
Bedi, Renata Ferreira and Shani Minors, meanwhile a solitary strike from Lauren Williams earned
Herne Bay a 1-0 success at Meridian Ladies.
North East League
York City are still keeping up the pace in the Premier Division, extending their lead to nine points
by beating Wakefield Trinity 4-1. Harrogate Town meanwhile won 5-2 against South
Shields and move up to second as a result, their scorers were Nat Eustance, Teagan Sorokan,
Molly Havard, Hannah Freibach and Monique Watson. Hartlepool Utd won for only the second
time in the league this season, 4-2 over Sheffield Wednesday thanks to Jessica Dawson, Robyn
Foster, Emily Stuart and Atalia Robinson.
Ailsa Swinburne, Emily Ashby and Shannon Carlin were all on the scoresheet as
Northern Division leaders Blyth Town defeated Norton & Stockton Ancients Res 3-1. This
keeps them three points ahead of Boro Rangers who won 3-0 against Guisborough Town,
courtesy of an Abigail Phillips double and Eve Hopson. The next four teams in the table are all level
on points, two of which are Washington Association and Spennymoor Town whose meeting
ended in a 1-1 draw with goals from Hannah Dixon and Sophie Farrugia respectively. Bishop
Auckland are another of the quartet, after they beat Prudhoe Town 7-1 with strikes from Vikki
Ryder (2), Katie Raine, Gemma Marshall, Brogan McHugh, Emma Wright and Emma Sangster.
Altofts Ladies caught up ground on the top two in the Southern Division with a 3-0
victory over Barnsley FC Ladies, goals coming from Megan Wilson, Emily Scott and Nicola
Smith. Sarah Lawn was on target five times and Shauna Hill contributed a hat-trick as Farsley
Celtic Juniors ran out 11-1 winners against Bradford Park Avenue, with Gemma Skinner,
Jasmin Cooper and an own goal completing the scoring.
North West League
Tranmere Rovers have narrowed the gap on Premier Division leaders Merseyrail Ladies to
four points after they defeated Cheadle Town Stingers 5-1 in the only result on Sunday.
Blackburn Community SC have opened up a lead of six points in Division One North,
courtesy of a 3-1 victory against Penrith AFC. In the other game, Haslingden returned to
winning ways with a 1-0 success away to Morecambe Res.
Curzon Ashton extended their Division One South lead to four points as they defeated
Runcorn Linnets 4-0. Hindley Juniors Women were also 4-0 winners away to Alder FC
Women whilst the four goals were shared between Mersey Valley and Wythenshawe
Amateurs, the match finishing in a 2-2 draw.
South West League
Sherborne Town hold onto the leadership of the Premier Division despite going down to a 2-1
defeat at the hands of AFC St Austell. Kaitlyn Harris and Lucy Solloway scored the goals for the
Cornish side, whilst the Zebras replied through Sophie Garcia. Ilminster Town are two points off
the pace following their 3-0 success away to Marine Academy Plymouth, with Harriet Kelly,
Colette Martin and Charlotte Pettinger accounting for their goals. Esme Kilburn-Thompson
meanwhile netted the only goal as Torquay Utd stayed in the hunt with a 1-0 victory over Forest
Green Rovers. Wootton Bassett Town went on a goal spree at Bideford, spearheaded by
Libby Davies who netted six times and Lani Dickinson added a further five, whilst Poppy Wannell
weighed in with a hat-trick. Aly Lyons (2), Hannah Gulliver and Ellie O'nions supplied the other
goals. Caitlin Berry and Holly Miller were on target for Bishop's Lydeard as they shared a 2-2
draw with Middlezoy Rovers, for whom Chloe Snook netted both goals.
Bristol Rovers require only one point to be assured of the Northern Division title,
moving themselves to the brink with a 6-0 victory over Cheltenham Town Development.
Libby Bell, Laura Curnock, Zoe Fielden-Stewart, Annys Turner, Jacqueline Maddock and Jamie-
Leigh Worlock all scored a goal apiece for the champions elect. Frampton Rangers are still in
with a shout of a top two place, keeping themselves in with a chance by winning 4-1 at Weston
