Westward Developments Devon League
Liverton Utd made it five wins on the trot and are six points clear following their eight-goal victory
over Ottery St Mary. Hannah Drummond hit a hat-trick and there was one apiece from Charlotte
Dymond, Leanne Kenward, Katie Sawyer, Hannah Dawe and Sian Aslett. Second placed Halwill were
beaten for the first time, 4-3 by Budleigh Salterton. Lucy Burch and Abby Yukon each bagged
doubles, with Kelly Gilbert (2) and Chloe Massey-Berry replying. Victoria Jasper scored a hat-trick for
Signal Box Oak Villa in their 7-2 victory over Shaldon Villa, Chardonnay James adding a double
along with Abigail Smith and Abigail White.
Exeter City Res continue to look powerful at the top of Division One, with a seventeen goal
blast against Bradninch. Erin Romanowski netted five times and Kelsey Salter added a further four,
with Chloe Harris hitting a hat-trick. Natasha Harvey (2), Ella Maguire and Antonia Nash accounted
for the other goals. Lisa Quaintance, Ellice Sparks, Samantha Ungi and Megan Lloyd were the
markswomen for Plainmoor Ladies as they won 4-2 at Cullompton Rangers to go up to third.
Gloucestershire League
The First Round of the Gordon Perrett Memorial League Cup saw four Division One teams in action,
and all four made it safely through to the last sixteen. Becky Gillespie, Kirsten Talbot and Mel Hoad
were on target as Abbeymead Rovers got past a tough hurdle against Olveston Utd with a 3-1
victory and Longwell Green were 2-0 winners away to Cheltenham Civil Service thanks to Louisa
O'Hare and Melanie Mills. Cotswold Rangers defeated Mitcheldean SC 4-1 with a goal apiece
from Lily Ryan, Beth Tovey, Sophie Vincent and Rebecca Hoare, whilst Gloucester City won 6-3
against Whitchurch & Bristol. Caitlin Marden and Katie Carrington-Stait each netted twice along
with Jayne Papps and Abigail Barker. Lauren Farr and Zoe Gabb scored the goals for Dursley Town
as they won 2-1 at Tuffley Rovers, whilst Cirencester Town beat Bristol Ladies Union
Development 3-0 courtesy of Sarah Rayworth, Bec Brannan and Jodie Bailey. Winchcombe Town
are the other team through with a 6-0 victory over Bradley Stoke Vixens in which Anna Howes
scored four times along with Zinovia Apospori and Katy Bradshaw.
Greater London League
Enfield Town Res have climbed into second place in the Premier Division on the back of a 6-0 win
against Comets in the only match to be played. Olivia Syson led the scoring with a four-goal haul
whilst the others came from Claire Huggins and Katie Miller.
There was a change of leadership in Division One North, with Tower Hamlets going top after
beating East London Ladies 3-0. Rogan Dolan, Ella Vickers-Strutt and Judith Rossey all netted a
goal apiece for the new leaders. Condoleezza Al-Smith scored four times, and Meadow Young added
the other, for Ridgeway Rovers in their 5-1 victory over Luton Town Res.
One game took place in Division One South, table toppers Bromley FC Ladies running out
5-0 winners over third placed South East Parakeets with goals from Terri-Ann Warren (2),
Charlotte Lee, Samantha Kilroy-Downs and Millie Main.
Sheffield & Hallamshire League
Barnsley FC Ladies top the Division One table with maximum points from their two games so far.
Bekkie Hale (2), Sadie Hooper, Ruby Jex-Oldfield and Macy Lunn were their scorers in a 5-2 win over
Wakefield Trinity Development both of whose goals came from Danielle Walker. The previous
week’s opening day results offered little form guide as Harworth Colliery registered a 4-0 victory
over AFC Bentley thanks to goals from the Thompson twins, Danielle and Sophie, Kat Cunliffe and
Georgia Walker-Ellis. With nine teams in the division, it was Sheffield Utd Community
Foundation who sat out the opening round and goals from Caitlin Cooper (2) and Mariella De Lara
gave them a winning start, 3-2 at Sheffield Wednesday Res for whom Anna Pippard and Aislinn
Flynn-O’Gormann replied.
SJR Worksop Development won 4-0 at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic thanks to a
hat-trick by Emily Murphy and single from Kelsey Parker to make it two wins from two and they top
the Division Two table by virtue of more goals scored ahead of Sheffield Wednesday Development
who were 4-2 away winners at Sheffield Utd Community Foundation Res. Halima Essa, Raqia
Essa, Hannah Jackson and Kayha Williams netted for Wednesday, Carly Herrick and Sara Tyler for
United. Lydia Rae scored for Mexborough Athletic in their 1-1 draw at Wickersley Youth, a result
which saw both teams gain their first point. Natasha Lindley, Chloe Randle, Tia Stancill and Kirsty
