Following the recent high profile instances of racism in football,
particularly those in Bulgaria involving our former player Tyrone
Mings, and at Haringey s by Yeovil Town “fans”, we would like to
remind all our supporters of our Club’s Equality Policy-
1. Yate Town Football Club abides and adheres to the Gloucestershire FA
policy on Equality and to the requirements of the Equality Act 2010
2. The Board of Directors at Yate Town Football Club fully support this policy
and their commitment is to promote inclusion and to confront and
eliminate discrimination whether by reason of age; gender; gender
reassignment; sexual orientation; marital status or civil partnership race;
nationality; ethnic origin; colour; religion or belief; ability or disability;
pregnancy and maternity and to encourage equal opportunities.
3. Yate Town Football Club will not tolerate harassment; bullying; abuse or
victimisation of a Participant; which for the purposes of this Policy and
the actions and sanction applicable is regarded as discrimination,
whether physical or verbal, Yate Town Football Club will work with FA to
ensure that such behaviour is met with appropriate action in whatever
context it occurs.
4. Yate Town Football Club commits itself to the immediate investigation of
any allegation, when it is brought to their attention, of discrimination and
where such is found to be the case, Yate Town Football Club will require
that the practice stop and impose sanctions as appropriate.

anyone who wants to participate in it.”
